I beleive the second CP3 is belt driven.

If you are upgrading can I buy your stock LBZ pump?

Ben is correct, it is belt driven and usualy is mounted where the alternator bracket is on the drivers side of the motor.

ATS supposedly is preparing kits, and CrankItUpDiesel.com is working on them as well.

I doubt you'll need them until you have a charger at least as big as an Aurora 5000 or twins.

I don't think a phot has ever been published anywhere because they're mainly R&D test animals for now.

So this pump picks up fuel and crams it into the original cp3?How is this different than the MITUSA?

Supplies much higher levels of fuel pressure.

Not even close to the operation that your speaking of. We do not feed the second CP3 into the first one, we feed it directly to the rail. There is no way on the planet that the low pressure side of the CP3 would dream on handling 24k psi of pressure.

So is it a modified rail? Is it included in the price for the pump or extra?

Wade, what lift pump setup did ATS develop this with? I am assuming a Fass. When will a price be published on the setup? Also, this second CP3 will work without modification to the origional one, correct?

How is rail pressure maintained? Is the single factory fprv capable of dumping the fuel from both pumps or is there a second on the new pump?

I had a chance to see another player in the Dual CP3 field at IRP. The install was very clean and simple.. Almost over simplified I thought. I am sworn to secrecy on it as the company does not want it public until they are ready for production.

Crank it up diesel is the true innovator behind the dual set up and have more experiance with it then anyone else and would rate second on my short list.

PPE is selling a duel cp3 kit as well and it is the nicest kit as far as fit and finish goes and has all the electronics to control it properly it rates a 10 out of 10 as far i am concerned and if i ever decide to go that way it would be the kit i bought.

Hopefully it's not priced like thier $159 boost stick or $300 LLY shimed fuel rail.

They have had their copycat department working hard the last year or so.

Everything is controlled through the computer that comes with the system. Control has nothing to do with the FPRV because you shouldn't create any more pressure than the factory computer is calling for.
