Ok, guys lets get an idea of what we are all paying for fuel around the country. I'm planing a trip to Colorado next month. I know the prices will change by then but it would be helpful to kinda know what to expect. Here in south West Idaho currently the price is $2.09.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

$1.639 at the Flying J on I-75 & US 30. Diesel has actually gone down a few cents in the last couple of weeks, even though gasoline has gone up.

That's on-road diesel, not Ag diesel. It's been a couple of months since my distributor filled my Ag diesel tank, so I can't even tell you what off road diesel is around here right now.

$1.74/gal at the T/A stop off of I-90 in Marengo, IL, 9 miles from my house.

The Mobil down the street from my house (1 mile) sells diesel for $1.89/gal. I'll drive the extra 8 miles to the T/A thank you very much! Cheap 87-octane gasoline here is $2.07... so I'm still saving a TON of money per gallon on fuel http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

By asking this question you can sure see how California is taking it in the shorts for sure. It would seem that everybody on the left coast needs to move to Oklahoma for no other reason then the fuel prices. Thanks to all that have posted and are leting the rest of us around the country know just how bad fuel prices have becomehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Throw Up.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Throw Up.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Thumbs Down.gif

I thought I'd throw in a Toronto, Canada price. If my calcs are correct, based on conversion from CDN$ to US$ and Litre to US Gallon, I came up with $1.81 US per gallon (66.9 cents CDN per litre). I always thought our fuel prices were a lot more expensive than yours, but I guess you've caught up. Not good news since our 3 week vacation this year will be to SD, MT and WY http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif. On a side note, my GMC D/A costs less to fill up and goes farther than my Honda van. Go figure.

I really want a duramax and there was almost nothing from stopping me, but recently i have been taking notice of the prices of diesel and now i am really having second thoughts. i drove past 2 stations on my way to work today and the first was 2.55 for #2 and 2.47 at the other station and premium was around 2.45 at both of em. i really love these trucks but id be damned to buy one in southern california, where we're all suckers for paying that much. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif....i really want one, but im not sure i can afford the truck, insurance, and the gas prices. somebody change my mind, please. No matter what they charge us for the fuel, the bottom line is that these trucks are just way past cool. The fuel prices can't stay at these higher costs for ever. Really don't think that fuel price should be a factor in the purchase of one of these trucks. Once in the driveway you will love it just like the rest of us weird Damax/Ally owners. So just go for it..........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
