"Without a couple tons of something holding them down, they're miserable on the highway. They also suck down diesel at furious rates, and they're so loud your neighbors will think you're a UPS truck every time you turn the corner."

These guys must be some real wussies

More truck than you'll ever need
After putting all three trucks through the ringer for a week, it was clear they're made for work and little else. Without a couple tons of something holding them down, they're miserable on the highway. They also suck down diesel at furious rates, and they're so loud your neighbors will think you're a UPS truck every time you turn the corner.

How the heck do they know how much truck I need? That is a pretty smart observation the trucks are made for work. Loud? WTF, I have people asking me if mine is a gas big block. I also guess they have never drove a gas big block 3500 if they think the diesels suck fuel fast.

They really ought to have some one who has years of expeariance in a 3500 to do the test, not some econo box driver.

I've noticed allot of this lately in magazines. people with little to no experience or background writing reviews and making ridiculous comments. These trucks outride and outperform most vehicles produced and certainly can have as many or more options than most cars!

Thats so true, if I did the test I would have had at least 20,000 lbs on that trailer lol. Then find a few tree stumps and then the last test I would go old skool and chain the 2 trucks together. lol

They were PO'd because they weren't assigned to Road & Track and haven't been asked to test a BMW, Corvette or Ferrari.
