Thinking of leveling kit (Nickname... porkchops) connects to torsion bars, for front of 03 Silverado dually. Just want to get rid of the raked look. Does anyone have good or bad advice for performing this modification?
Thank you, sincerely

get the green coded keys for $40. as long as you do not go too high, you can mostly level the truck and still have a good ride. I personally would also replace the stock shocks as they make a difference in the ride whether levelled or not if you have not already done so. i would start about an 1.25 or 1.5 inches, with a max of 2". also. get the align checked.......

Can you tell me more about the green coded keys?
Also, which shocks do you prefer.
Thank you,

i forget the part number, but there are a series of keys with colors denoting the indexing. stock keys are purple for example. either your dealer or gmpartsdirect.com will have them, shop for best price. do a search here on the keys and you should be able to find the part numbers. the install is also not bad, takes about an hour with an 18mm socket, jack stands and a 5 ton gear puller.
As far as shocks go, it is hard to go wrong. Most people on this site have gone either with bilsteins or ranchos. I went with the rancho rs9000x partly becuse of the 9 position adjustability and the fact they were buy 3 get 1 free at www.samsoffroad.com (http://www.samsoffroad.com) . http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif opinions are mixed. I have had bilsteins in the past and have like them also.
