Just a quick question... I have a 2001 DuraMax with 48,000 miles. Never a problem, until I saw white smoke at a drive-thru, so I take the truck in and they tell me I have a bad injector. The dealer says I will get all 8 replaced...I am relieved... with all the problems of late with the LB7 injectors. After the repairs are made ,I talk with the tech that did the work and was asking the difference in the new injectors versus the old, and was told the new ones had harder seats that would not crack. All this is fine, but when I go to the cashier, the paperwork says that the injectors are re-manufactured. How are they re-maned?? I thought I was supposed to get BRAND NEW ones. The truck runs fine, but I hate to think I might have this problem again abuot time the warranty is supposed to run out....just wondering????http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

they are labeled as remans, to justify the core, which ensures that they get back for inspection.
If I am not mistaken, they are all new
