Just wondering which converter comes with the SCIII kit? Is it the 1057 or is that an upgrade?

The stage 3 comes with a 1050 normally. The 1057 is an upgrade. Not exactly sure of the price difference. It should be on their website.

From everything I hear the 1057 is the way to go.

1050 is pretty much extinct anymore. The 1056 is the replacment "standard" converter. The 1057, as mentioned, is a 200 upgrade.

Call Mike L. or Eric or Smoop at Suncoast and they'll ask you a bunch of questions about your truck, its use, your driving, altitude etc. Then they'll give you a recommendation 1050, 1056, 1057 etc.

They are all great converters. The McRat is the quickest and most fun.

FWIW I have a 1050. I have no complaints about it. I have never driven one of these new converters so I will probably continue to be happy until I do ):h

For my intended uses, Joe actually recommended a 1056. You can email them also if you work in a cube farm.
