Homemade PMD cooler, #9 resistor, GM Enhanced OBD-II data acquistion? All of this talk is new to me, i know the gasser talk, im trying to understand all of this diesel talk.

I'll take the first one. PMD = Pump Mounted Driver or FSD = Fuel Solenoid Driver.

Maybe just ask what your tryin to accomplish. Then someone (or everyone)
will tell you if its possible and what parts it will take and in what order to get them. imo

pmd cooler - heat sink for pmd. A lot of pmd's failed on the pump. Most advise to mount replacement on big heat sink away from engine.

#9 resistor is a resistor for to calibrate fuel output. There are 1-9 5 being no correction 1-4 lessen the output, 6-9 increase output. A way to correct any tolerances in pump and electronics. #9 is most fuel output.

OBD-II 2nd generation on board diagnostic 96 and later. Enhanced GM part recognizes diesel specific codes.
