I have a 02 Duramax with about 40,000 miles. Lately when I come to a stop the truck has like a small knock to it (like somthing is loose), but only when im at a complete stop and the truck is in gear. When it is park it seems to be normal and when im driving down the road it runs smoothly. So could this have somthing to do with the injecters, or I have also heard that on the converter, where the bolts go in that the welds brake somtimes. Can someone please help. And the truck is stock. Thanks

I believe it may be the rear springs. There has been some talk on here about this noise.
It is not really anything mechanicaly wrong, just a little annoying.

there is a small bracket that holds the exhaust pipe to the engine just above the starter. My bracket was broken and made this type of rattle. This is a well documentet problem on LB7's. Look on the passenger side just above the starter. Pull the inner wheel well... DO a search on this.. There is a thread out there somewhere.....

My 03CC/SB is doing the same thing. I just added a front resonator to my MBRP exhaust and I'm thinking maybe I couldn't hear it before and the problem has been there for a while.
Mine sounds like a rattle, only in drive when not moving. My exhaust also sounds like a lopey idle, which I attribute to the resonator.
