Im fitting a set of 6.5 heads onto my 6.2, will the longer 6.2 injectors still do the job (I know I will need to bend the fuel pipes etc).
They fit into the 6.5 threads but dont seem to screw in as far as they did on the 6.2 heads.

Dpending on year of each they will probably fit. 82 6.2 heads are solo in that they are a different thread pitch. all the rest have the same threads. That aside you need to keep the injectors for the pump you have. Nov 88 & up 6.2s & 6.5s moved the injectors so they need different lines. ( should'nt bend them to fit but have seen it happen) Any more clarification needed I'll be glad to offer what I khow.
