Hello,


I'm about to be a new 2500HD D/A owner. I've always owned GM gas V8's but decided to switch. I'm hoping I will have an engine and trans combination that will last and give me plenty of years of trouble free enjoyment.


I ordered the new unit on April/15th, built on April 30th, and on its way home.


I just wanted to introduce myself as I'm sure I'll have questions.

My truck was also built the week of the 26th and "a little bird" told me it was on its way home. We are trading in a '97 Suburban for the CC Duramax/Ally and cannot wait for it to get here.


I was pulling our horse trailer to my daughters pony club the other night wishing I had the torque.

Congrats, you have done the right thing Ihave driven them all and you got the best hands down. Actually it is MUCH better than even the 03. But don't take my word for it , let us know whay you all think in a while when your dream arrives.

How in the world did you manage to order it on 4/15 and it gets built 15 days later?

Well thats a long story, but suffice to say that the General took pity on me for my devotion to the product since 1978 and after getting a gasser that had enough problems to make any grown man cry, someone way up the ladder said "get this man a truck now"


Thats the short version


now I'm looking forward to settling into some performance and longevity


I salute the General for his attention to real customer service,

Welcome Rob, I know you will love the new truck they are awesome vehicles. Yesterday I delivered a Gravely mower to a gentleman who uses Dodge cummins trucks to deliver horses nationwide. Suffice to say he was more interested in the D/A truck than his new mower.
