Today I had a 4" exhaust put on my truck (see info. in sig.) and the first thing I noticed was the sound, it sounds like my diesel truck has been converted to a gas engine with dual exhaust on it:mad: . I like the "whistle" of a diesel, not that mine was loud by any means, I just wasn't expecting mine to turn out the way it did. Should I add the air intake now to get that more whistle sound or is that a waste of money? I have a K&N air filter that you pop in the original filter box but, no real air intake to speak of.

the lb7's just have a different sound. A metal cold air intake might help. btw "We have but one rule here. We will all behave as gentlemen." Robert E. Lee

I'm with ya. I did the same on my 02 lb7 with the same results. Now it sounds more like a gasser....kinda sucks
