Aurora 2000 doesnt really have any performance gains over the stock turbo AFAIK. Most people on here that have had one have since upgraded it to a different turbo...

IMHO you'd see better performance with a BD or twins.

The A2K is already avail for the LLY. I have one customer with it on his Dually and he is very happy with it. Keeps temps down quite a bit. I think its right on comparison with the BD

dmaxallitech any dyno #'s? Is this a total bolt on kit? whats the story with programing and getting around the VVT? Downpipe size actually 4" throughout. Does the oil line for the turbo have to be bent and what is the verdict with the dipstick tube for the trans. Oh one more thing how low of egts are we talking?

There may be complications with selling a kit that completely deletes the EGR. Also, you'd have to have EFILive, or the company thats selling the kit would need to sell you a custom tune with it.

until someone comes out with a "plug and play" gizmo that deletes the VVT controls (Fingers? :D ), aftermarket turbos on LLY's are basically a "DIY" setup...

If you really want to do an aftermarket turbo now, id be happy to help you with the "custom" changes (both tuning and to the engine itself) that are needed. :)

Well, since it says they have (or will have) them for the LBZ as well, I'm going to have to assume (yes I do know what that means) that they provide you with something in the kit to work around the VVT controls.
