After having the Mag-Hytec rear cover on my GMC for about 50,000 miles and running Redline gear lube. This is what it captured.

It looks worse that it is. Those hairs aren't one piece. They are real fine particles arranged by magnetism. When I touched it it was so smooth you couldn't feel the metal. Felt like slime.

This is what was on the dipstick.

When I dumped the oil at 600 miles it looked like liquid silver. I refilled with Amsoil but will be changing over to Schaeffer at 10k. Glad I got that crap outta there !

Mac look at the lube pooled under the dipstick. That's got 50,000 miles on it and it looks like it just came out of the bottle.
