I unplugged my EGR and did not get a light. Do I need to intall a blocker plate and a finger; or just a plate; or neither. Thanks for all the info..

It depends on the trunk. Most pre 2006 "FE9" trucks will not throw a "code." If you fill-in your signature with the vitals of the truck, (year, engine-lb7,lly,lbz, CC, EC, RC) it will make it a lot easier to help.

So what do I need? I have a 2005 GMC 2500HD EC; I unplugged the EGR connector, did not get a light. Do I need a blocker plate and finger or just a plate; or neither...Thanks
