Will this size wheel fit a 4wd 2500HD without any inner fender, etc mods?

20" weld evo, with 325/60r20 tires

Maybe, what width? backspace? You'll probably need to lift the front some.

Make sure the wheels are rated for at least 3100 lbs.

Backspace is very important. Many rims for our trucks stick out too far, and with them, even 265's are too wide. Stock ride height, stock offset, the biggest tire is about 285 without trimming anything.

Those 325/60-20's aren't even going to come CLOSE to fitting without adjustment. They are 35.5" tall, or about 5" bigger that the stock tires.

Without any mods at all.... 265's tops. IMO 20's with no lift or suspension "up" adjustment don't look proportionate to the vehicle.

I have the 325/60/20 BFG's on a 20X9 Diamo......even with a 6" CST I had to trim the valence just a bit. I doubt that you can stuff them on a stock suspended truck.

I don't want to steel this thread but this raises a question? Assuming stock suspension and wheels, what size would you suggest if I want to go bigger than the stock 245 / 75 R16.

265's will be the least problem. They are what come on the 3500 SRW trucks.

You can go as big as 285 if want to crank up your Tbars, and perhaps zip tie the fender liner on some trucks. However 285's fit better on 7-8" rims.

285's barely rub on Blue when on Alcoa rims.

My 325/60/18's are pushing it. I think 20's would be too big. On another note 285's are a piece of cake :ro)

might with a different wheel. Around 5"-5.25" and some cranking of the bars a 35 will clear. It is just hard to find the right wheel/tire combination to make it work.

My next tire will probably be 325/70/17's (about 1/2" smaller than what you are trying to run) and they will fit fine.

Check out nar's fender modification. With trimming you can fit anything...

I'm runnin' Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVOs (LT285/75R16s) on factory alloys = 32" . . . leveled the front with a couple of cranks on T/Bs w/ very minor trim mods - then off & runnin' with no rubs - as of yet anyway.

I was curious how to level the front " ....leveled the front with a couple of cranks" . Is it a do it yourself job? If so how ? I am considering the 285's. Does upping the preload on the Torsion Bars reduce there life or just harshen the ride?
