not bad, The front seems to have a little throwback to the 01/02 look. I'd buy one.

Whats up with the front and rear fenders? Looks decent, but I thought they would make them sit a little higher, like the F150, Dodge. Atleast they've kept it looking nice with the chrome grill, etc. Now we need to see what the HD is going to look like. Probably have a different bumper.

They managed to come up with excessively prominent integrated fender flares/bulges that still look tacked on (except no seams). I sure hope they are part of an optional package. The lower level trucks in the spy photos don't appear to be that bulged.

Do you think they could put more creases into that sheet metal?

a lot of people have commented that the earlier pics don't seem to have the bulges on the back. I wonder if there is any chance they will have different beds, maybe that is part of the Z71 package?

I can live with it's looks.I dont like the grill and bumper combo though. It looks too long I think because of the way the bumper ends are equal with the grill.

One of the oldest spy photos of the Silverado showed contour of the top rear "corner" of the bulging fender flare now plainly visible in the new unmasked photos.

But they seem less pronounced on the GMC 1500 (center). But the GMC HD (right) seems like it might be about the same as the Chevy.

To be sure, we need unmasked GMC photos, and need to know whether the base models have fenders with those box-like shapes 'added' on.

Looks OK. Kind of reminds me of combination of the Toyota Tundra (front half) and a dodge (bed area).

The front end reminds me of the older s-10's. I think it is pretty ugly, that new ford isnt looking so bad now IMO.

it looks remarkably like the new surburbans if you can imagine it with out the ugly crome $hit in front and with the taho style headlights.

not what i was looking forward to but i think this will give alot of room for the hds to look prity good. but then i don't the the 04 - current front end i like the throw back to the 01,02,03 body styles

I really like it! I'm sure that you will be able to get the chrome front end in body color with some packages. It'll grow on you if you don't like it now.

My first impresssion is -:t -:t -:t -:t -:t -:t -:t -:t . I'm hoping that it will grow on me, but then again......I hope the HD's look a little less goofy. If not, I'm gunna have to make a switch to another brand.

the HD's will be different.
I certainly hope so. These trucks are startin to look more like the "Transformers" than real trucks. JMO, but a truck should ,,number one, be a truck and secondly, look the part. I guess I'm just not into the plastic ghetto bling. God I'm prayin for the HD's now.......

any spy pics of the HD's yet?

Thankful

The red paint on the corners of the front bumper doesn't look right.

I think the same thing. The bumper doesn't look exactly right. Looks kind of odd. I prefer the full length chrome bumper like the current style:

Well that is one of the 1500 CC. It's got the super short bed.

I can't stand the little luggage rack on it. That looks silly.
Somewhere on GMI there is a chop of one that's black and the bumper is black too. it looks good (you can't see the fender bulges) It's also "lifted :) that will make a truck right there.

I hated the 07 Burb/Tahoe till I saw the lifted black one.... That's what we are now getting instead of the 3500 CC. LOL well the good thing about that is I'll have more time to let this new look grow on me (and hope the HD's looks better).

I kinda like the luggage rack, almost reminds me of drip rails. The nice thing about it is I wouldn't have to drill holes in my roof to put off-road lights or an overhead rack on a work truck.

It looks like it has the previous gen escalade headlights in it, or similar anyways... I wish it looked more like the new tahoe, but I guess its okay.

I can see it now. People putting their luggage on the rack but running the rear compartment empty and the bed empty. What's with this crap of super short beds. If my bed was any shorter I'd be in trouble. 6.5' is bare minimum IMHO. I wish I had a long bed but it wouldn't fit in my driveway.

The super short bed is for people that don't really need a pick-up and would be better off with an suv.;)

Theres always room for improvement on any new design...

Thank God the dark days of the Fugly 03 slant eyes are gone...

I am sure they will sell tons of them . . . it is nice and bland in the front.

What's with those flared fenders? Give me a break! The nicest rear fender lines GM/Chevy has had in ten years was the Denali and the 02-03-04 sport side. Oh well . . . if nobody bought it I guess I am wrong about it looking good!

Anyone want to guess: Will the Sierra have the flares? Will the sierra have that Nissan inspired chrome & paint bumper?
