I am not sure what turbo is a better buy the Aurora 2000 or the BD turbo. both are right around the same price but which one makes more sense to get?

It depends on what you want. The Aurora 2000 will not build the boost the BD will. It is more of a fast spooling towing turbo. I had one and it would not build anymore boost than the stock one. It did spool faster however. The BD will run in the 40psi range. There have been some issues with some of the early BD turbos, but it seems to be getting resolved. So it depends on what you want from your truck, racing or towing. ;)
