Whats everyone's idea of what I could get for a set of PYO's and factory tires. They will have about 500 miles on them. The dealer told me they could give me $500 for them. What do you guys think?

I'd let the dealer have them for that price. Doubt if you could do any better.

I got $320 trade-in for my factory Bridgestones 245s with 500 miles on them when I traded up to my Michelin 265s. And that's just for the tires. Just think what the parts department at that dealership would charge you if you ordered ONE of those PYO rims. Just guessing, but I would imagine $300+.

I think you can do better, but finding the right buyer for the tire/wheel combo could be difficult.

On another note, what will the dealer say if you need to put them back on for warranty work but don't have them? Remember the TSB about the correct tire/wheel size before diagnostic's can be run.


I kept mine and put some BFG A/T's on for the winter, don't want to ruin those good rims in the snow and salt.

For tires and rims? Sounds a little light to me.

Do a search on eBay for past sales. A fair number of PY0 and almost new factory tire sets are sold there.

I sold the factory Bridgestones for $300 and he paid to have the tires removed. I kept the factory wheels.

Im really not concearned with warranty problems, with the lift Im putting on the stock set up wouldn't fit anyway. I also thought they were a little short on their offer. Unfortunatly my dmax purchase has been nothing but pleasant. As most of you might remember I'm the one that ordered a new 04 and the dealer put gas in it, and now i'm caught up in the big hold in flint, and still waiting. Maybe someones trying to tell me not to buy a new dmax...

lol, I never imagined it would be so diffacult to buy a new truck.
