My question is that the oil pressure for the new engine is 20-30 psi idling and 55-65 psi running. My old Duramax LB7 ran at 40 psi idling and 80 psi running. Is this a problem? Could the indicator be bad or are the new engines normally carrying lower oil pressures? Zeeb 05-05-2004, 01:18 AM Well I'm not one of the techs, but those numbers reflect what mine are... From my experience with other types of engines, I don't see a problem with those numbers.
