AS SOON AS I WALK UNDER IT I LOOK UP AT THE BAIL HOUSING FOR SOME REASON OR ANOTHER AND WHAT DO YA KNOW???????? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif THERE IS A TWO AND A HALF INCH CRACK IN IT. IT IS IN THE UPPER REAR CORNER OF THE INSPECTION HOLE AND ANGLES UP AND BACK. ITS THE HOLE WITH THE LITTLE TIN COVER ON IT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. ANYONE ELSE SEEN OR HEARD OF THIS.

Wasn't there a problem with some tranny cases cracking like this ?? I believe so ...I doubt the high boost launches did it perhaps in the rear portion ..

I agree with Mac, hard launches didn't crack the bellhousing. Either there was a weakness to begin with, or something might have happened when you installed trans.
