Just purchased my first '04 2500 hd Duramax/Allison LLY and know nothing about The Edge, except a guy showed me his install in a South Carolina trailer park. Looked awsome using velcro under hood for the box and monitor installed in cab up high. But I'm confused. From what I'm reading, warranty could be voided by dealer if seen. Is this true? If so, if you unplug the unit does all of the systems in the truck reset back to normal so that the dealer is none the wiser? And if so, is it as simple as plugging the Juice back into the port to have it work right away again? It seems to good to be true? One other question. Is your warrantee from GM automatically voided if caught or only if the problem you are reporting can be directly attributed to The Juice? Any info. would help. Thanks.

You got it right. 5 second removal and reinstall.
Some dealers don't care if you have the juice or not. The law says they can't just completely void your warranty. Let's say that you have a hot juice/attitude on a stock transmission (150hp+) and you tear up your transmission. If the dealer knows you have a juice they will likely deny you warranty on that repair. That's why its a good idea to remove it. As they say, you've got to pay to play. Now if your radio quit, well obviously the juice did not cause that.
Technically speaking GM has to be able to prove that your mod caused the problem to deny warranty. Realisticly speaking, you would have to prove to them that your mod didn't cause the problem.

One other thing, since you have the LLY, edge does not have a juice ready for it yet.
