can anyone tell me where the oil and temp senders are on my 82 6.2 engine have looked in book but no joy cannot find them, need to know as oil pressure guage is not working**********Censored

holtzer1 06-10-2006, 05:48 PM oil pressure sensor is on the rear top of engine where it is on gassers, where the distrubutor would normally be. peegh 06-11-2006, 03:10 PM the oil pressure sending unit is on the rear of the block closer to the drivers side. The water temp unit is on the head on the drivers side under the ac unit to the front of the head. hope this helps farmer0_1 06-12-2006, 12:52 AM what he said !!!!!!!!!!! down behing the glow plug sensor for the oil pressure sender. holtzer1 06-12-2006, 01:09 AM i know the oil pressure sensor is a pain in the *** to get...i changed it on my burb once...special socket needed. i could for the life of me get it loose...luckily a guy in the shop had one...or i would have just left it alone and hoped it was only the gauge...kinda off topic, but whats the spec for oil pressure on these, i run about 60 psi cold and abouts 35 warm. farmer0_1 06-12-2006, 01:20 AM sounds about like mine | ||
