I just changed filter after GM warranteed my filter housing and pump. A whole lot easier now that the pump works. It's actually a pretty easy job when everything is functional. A huge relief to know it's not as difficult as it seemed when I couldn't get all the air out unless I pressurized fuel tank. I now feel confident that I could change the filter when out on the road w/ the right tools. Thanks for fixing my truck GM!!!!!

I bet its easier. Thats would be a pooper with no pump to prime

I had to ask if you opened the bleeder or not, because there are so many posts flying around on this opinion. Just curious on how you did this. Thanks for the reply.
