I installed a Nav Radio and LUX amp in my 2005 Envoy Denali. This is what I have:
Newest Revision LUX TNR-------15230099
2004 Escalade amp-----------------15060881
and the correct nav antenna.
I followed your wiring directions for the amp to a tee; switched all the wires around and added the class II data serial line from A1 of the head unit an orange wire. It doesn't have sound. The radio powers up, the nav works great but I'm in silence. What do I do next. I checked and rechecked the wiring it is correct. I found this on the net and wired according to these instructions:

If you have a minute take a look and give me some advice.
Thanks,
Rob

I don't think the Envoy wiring is the same as ours, but you hooked Class2 to an Orange wire? I don't think Class2 was an orange wire. I always thought the color orange was reserved for 12v power.
I think we need to compare the radio harness of your Envoy to that of our trucks to make sure the pin-outs are the same.

was it a THICK or THIN orange wire? The THICK orange wire is power. Thin wire is Class II.
did you rewire the amp connectors? How many amplifier connectors did your Envoy Denali have? 2 or 3? The wiring on the amplifier end could be completely different on a Envoy...I dont know...

I think the pin outs are all wrong on my truck an '05 Envoy Denali. Where can I find this information? I'm frustrated, cant find anything on the net.

Thin orange is A1 on the head unit, now going to B10 at the amp.
The amp has 2 connections, 24 pin and 8 pin (a-h)

I bet the amp pinouts are all wrong. I wish I was at home because i have the SI2000 service manual and could find the Envoy pinouts....try PM'ing Max Power and tell him to send me the "entertainment systems connection pinouts for a 2005 Envoy". If he can send those to me id be happy to take a minute to look over the pinouts and figure out what you need to change...

Didn't I just say that? I doubt the Envoy wiring harness is the same as ours.
If anyone can make heads or tails of it, Ben can.
BTW, Ben.....those dual layer DVD's are expensive!

Ben,
I sent the message to Max Power. I'm really concerned because I have no idea what wires go back to what pins. There are about 6 wires that are not used on the 24 pin connector after the pin out switch....I have no idea which ones go in what pin number....incase I have to reverse this thing.
If your able to help, I really would appreciate it. Can you find out what colors the wires are in the 24 pin connector and in the 8 pin connector in my '05 Envoy? I'm going to have to proceed by wire color at this point because reversing it will be a challenge.
I owe you one......thanks, Rob
