Dealer says Dex 3, had Amsoil now, need to change, but I don't want to do any damage, any feedback would be helpful. thanks

I think I'm at about 10 quarts right and when warm it is on the middle notch between the cold and hot setting. I think this is about 1" low from the hot and that equals about 1 qt. It never quite works as well as the proper fluid. I have tested them all without success. I recently changed my trans fluid after the truck had set for 11 days. The measured amount was 9 qts. & 28 ozs. | ||
