I used this stuff the other day HOLLY SH#T. I love it easy to use easy to buff and it looks good on plastic and paint.
Anyone else using it ? Good Bad?

IIRC, it actually disolves the paint after 5 days so don't use it. Haze everywhere.

;) NOT. Haven't heard a thing. Sounds good though! :ro) ):h

Specially designed for those who are TOO lazy to do a "real" detail on their vehicle........ You know, the kind that would spend $50K on a truck and not willing to spend 30 minutes on maintenance.

Tried it. Does not even get close to what Zaino does. For swirl marks in dark paint, Zaino is the only way to go.

I like it, not to fond of the price though, believe it was almost 10 bucks, guess its worth it though.

Haven't tried ICE but found a jug of Armor Plate spray on made by Armoral in the shop. Think my daughter gave it to me several years ago. Had just cleaned and waxed the MB and it looked pretty good. Thought I'd try some over the freshly waxed car. (rather experiment with the MB than the truck). Took about on-half hour to apply and it shined up almost enough to hurt your eyes. Can't find the stuff anywhere and not sure if they even make it any more. Applied same to truck with same good results. Picked up a jug of ICE to see how it works but haven't cracked the seal yet. Be interesting to see how long the finish lasts.

Does well for Black Trucks...mine is black... Its not the logest lasting stuff out there but for the short time it takes to shine her up...
More boat time!!!!

ICE is junk. Save your cash and do a real detail job. Much better products even for a quick wax and shine. It left a haze on my wife's black Malibu no matter how much buffing. Went back to Meguiar's Gold Class and the black positively POPS now!

I used to own a mobile detailing/car wash here while going to college, and tried EVERY brand of wax out there. Used the buffer alot too.

My wife was on her way to the store, and I asked her to pick up some of the polish (notice it says polish, not wax!) It works best when you have just put down a fresh coat of wax on the vehicle.

I applied it to my wife's tahoe, which hadn't been waxed in about a year.
Man, I'll tell you what!!! I was really happy with the results....easy on, easy removal/buff

yes, the price is high, but used it on both the tahoe and the truck this weekend, and still 9/10 of the bottle left, with the sponge soppin' wet with the stuff still.

I like the fact that you can hit the plastics with it too, like the luggage racks, bumper, window trim, even the dash!. makes it all look brand new!

like I said though, it is ideally used AFTER a fresh coat of wax has been applied!

10 Bucks??, I bet you bought the ICE Detail touch up which is cheaper and looks the same. I just paid $16.37 plus tax for the ICE Polish at Wal-Mart. The polish kit I bought has a sponge applicator and a polishing cloth included in the kit. I almost bought the ICE detail by mistake and it was about $10.00.

Fresh coat of good wax then the Ice on top of that!

Sound like at least a 12 pack :grd:

I have always used the slogan when it comes to waxes, 'Easy On, Easy Off'. It just seems to me to use some work to it, it will last. But a lot of times, if it looks good, then it must be OK. My 2 cents worth. Thanks.

Well, I washed my truck a week after I applied the ice polish, not the detailer.

I only had to use a pressure washer, and not a brush.
road grime, dirt, mud, bugs, road tar. you name it, it came flying off with the pressure washer. I still step outside to admire the shine on it
