What company actually makes the oil filters that are the stock ones for GM? I know Racor makes the fuel filter no matter what sticker is on them. Thanks.

Larry good question I would like to know that one too. Hopefully the 2007 will keep the same filter too.

ACDelco and Isuzu make the filters sold to dealers. Early in the run, maybe 01-03, there were rumors of the Delco filters bursting, my old dealer was buying the Isuzu filters until last year. I don't know if they are made by a different company, but Delco does make a lot of their own filters.

Was wondering the same thing myself. Somebody on Ebay is selling them starting at $44. Do a search for Duramax filters and you will find it.
