What are some different tire types other than Nitto's and BFG's and Toyo'sand REVO's? Are there any other brands that last at least 30K miles? Thanks

What size?

I have used Mastercraft Courser C/Ts on my previous truck and they were on track to get about 45K out of them. They are a subsidary of Cooper Tires. I'll probably go with them when I buy tires again. They don't have anything above a 17" rim though.

I can't figure out why, but some have NOT had as good a mileage as I had BUT the majority of people I know that have them like them and get good mileage out of them.

I have the Pathfinder AT (a Discount Tire brand) on my 03 GMC2500HD and they have worn very slowly. I have 20K on them now and they are about 25% worn.

I have 16" Goodyear Wrangler ATS (E, 265). I like them because they are quiet and have two channels which seems to reduce any hydroplaning (in my world, anyway). I pulled them off my LLY with 45,000 miles and have put them on my LBZ. I think I can get another 5000-7500 miles before I replace them. Goodyear has replaced them with their Silent Armor brand.

If you don't have to have oversize tires, the Goodyear G647, Michelin XPS, and Bridgestone R250 are all commercial steel sidewall tires that will go up to 150K miles. They will cost $200 per, but are worth it.

I have excellent luck with Pro Comp all terrain tires.

I love my Cooper S/T tires. I have almost 30,000 miles on them, and I am expecting to get at least 25,000 more.

Michelin LTX M/S if you don't want anything oversize. I believe the biggest they make is a 265 in a LRE.
The set I had on my '01 lasted over 80k.
