Seems these trucks are growing out back. Picked up the 95 a few months ago. been having fuel issues since day one. left it sitting to many other things going. This week I ended up with two more trucks. 6.2 cucv with 34000 miles, and a 96 k3500 drw ext cab. I think I'll keep the 96 and chop up the cucv for a rock buggy.

The F motor in the 96 is a lil tired, but has cooling upgrades and FSD. 180,000 miles or so. The 4L60E has a rebuild with all the updates and a few upgrades. I also have another block recently tanked/inspected, new stock crank, used rods, and used heads.

So the plan is to build a new motor for the 96. swap the 96 to 95. What to build though. fresh slightly moded 6.5 swap to mechanical pump, bumped up 6.5, or 18:1?

Need the motor to run cool, pull heavy and last 100-200k.

I know the 18:1 will have the power, but how long are they lasting?

18:1 if running more than stock boost which is what you will be doing if you want power.
