Well, I wonder how much more that is going to cost us?

How much it will cost us for fuel, or for injection pumps?

I take it this new generation of ULSD will be causing even MORE wear on our DS4 pumps, eh what?

I filled my tank for the first time with biodiesel this weekend. Unbelievable the difference in engine noise. Silence in the cab. B20 from Pacific Pride. I'm liking it so far. So, perhaps ULSD Biodiesel will be the answer.

I love environmentalists.

This could actually be a good thing though. If they remove that much sulfur from the diesel they will almost certainly have to add a lubricant.

(My first post :D)

Actually, I'm coming at it not from the environmental perspective, but as a farmer who could be growing fuel for all of us, but Uncle Sam is paying us to grow nothing while we send billions of dollars to the f!#$%@#ing Arabs who are funding terrorism. The positive environmental impact is just frosting on the cake. And, the bio part of the biodiesel is a great lubricant.

I'm all for it as long as it doesn't cost much more, and won't kill our injection pumps. I believe the price increase for ULSD has already been factored in to the current pump price, whether it is dispensing ULSD or regular diesel. The price always goes up long before it actually happens. Witness the ethanol replacing MTBE debacle here in NY. Prices went up in anticipation of a shortage that never happened.

I would use biodiesel right now, but there aren't any stations in my area that carry it. According to www.biodiesel.org (http://www.biodiesel.org) there is only ONE station in all of Long Island that carries biodiesel, and it's far away from where I live. It's pathetic.

We just got a Biodiesel outlet in my little town. I haven't seen the $/L yet.
