: no boost
Goalie990 06-04-2006, 11:30 PM i have been asking a bunch of questions about my boost failing out.. And i have noticed it mostly happens when im at a dead stop and when i accelerate which takes forever cuz i have no boost.. there is no smoke but when the engine starts to rev up toward 3 grand or so the boost kicks right in.. What could this be?
Goalie990 06-05-2006, 06:30 PM someone help meeeeeeeeeee
CanadianRigger 06-05-2006, 07:41 PM There is no boost at idle on any 6.5. What boost pressures are you seeing and at what rpm.
Your sig says boost controler, what are you using to control boost?
Update your signature to include the year and type of truck and if its an "S" or "F" engine so we can better diagnose the problem.
Goalie990 06-06-2006, 06:39 PM no it has no boost from like zero to 30 miles per hour sometime.. then it cyts back in and the ses light come on.. I bought this controller from this website it had a dial and it links into the map sensor

Turbine Doc 06-08-2006, 02:39 AM How did it drive before you put it on, many times the last maintenance action is culprit of many a problem, in this case considering where you got your fooler; I'd say it was highly probable that is the cause, go back to stock and see if the problem goes away. let us know how you make out

Wish we could find him and:boxing: :nutkick:
I should actually be thanking that guy, he is the reason I, and many others I'm sure joined this site because he chased so many people off other sites with his B.S.
cool_fool 06-09-2006, 04:59 PM I have done some research and all of you are WRONG!
According to steaksauce, modified fan clutches "burn out" the water pump early. Everyone should have his water injection system because intercoolers are a foolish waste of money. That his boost controller is the most reliable anywhere. I had a good laugh while reading through his editorial about all of the biased message boards that have it in for him.

CanadianRigger 06-09-2006, 06:44 PM Maybe you should ask the members that moved here that used to buy stuff from good ole "A-1". Ask them what their opinion of him is? :badidea: :badidea:
Everyone here is wrong? OMG! I'm leaving......

knkreb 06-09-2006, 10:07 PM My guess is, there won't be any refund... somehow it will be the rest of the world's fault, and every other internet site out there too... but refund I seriously doubt will materialize.
Let us know if you are successful.
