I was just flipping throught the duramax supplement w/the owners manual, and noticed that it said it has a air filter indicator. I know theres no better observation then to take it out and inspect it yourself, but i was curious as to, are they fairly accurate? Thanks -Adam
***Look for a few more questions over the coming week as i read the manuals, and get confused....this truck ROCKS!!!!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

They indicate when the filter is plugged. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif My experience is your better off pulling out the filter and taking a looky see. At least that was my experience with my 1500.

My experience has been that by the time the indicator tells you to change, the fuel mileage has been suffering for a while already.
