Just got done watch Trucks on SpikeTV and they were advertising a Dual Electric Fan setup from Flexlite? Price was about $500. Is this something worth looking into to replace our fans or not? Would this be good for towing? Thanks Mike

This crops up occasionally as a possible overheating solution/aid. I think Briano installed one a couple of months ago (do a search; it was an excellent write-up on his installation experience). His post noted that there was a limit to how much you could tow with an electric fan, but I don't recall what that limit was.

Hope this helps,

Joseph

On edit, here's the install post:

Yeah I agree with you guys on the hosts of trucks the big guy sounds like he needs to quit smoking. That flexlite setup is great if you just use your truck to cruise around in. Now towing might be a big issue with overheating, well for one thing that flexlite setup drops your gvw to 18,000!
