I need some help guys. I know I've seen "How to" post about installing the air compressor, Tank, and Regulator. I remember reading a post where the member mounted a regulator in the truck but I can't seem to find it now.
I want to hook this up so I can use it to air up the bags then when I get the air horns I want to use the same tank. I also want to put a chuck on the tank where I can quick connect a hose to use to fill up tires, rafts, balls, and that sort of thing.
Can someone point me to some of these post. Like I said I searched till I couldn't search anymore and can't find what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi, new to the site, any site, so I'm not sure if I should start a new post or tag on to yours. My question is I have a 3400# camper, dry wt, to slide in and need air bags. What you are asking about is the set up I want. Any info on set up and brands would be appreciated. '06 SRW 3500 D/A
P.S. How do I ist my truck at bottom of my posts?

I thought about going that route but decided to just put a small compressor and tank in. I got the compressor just need to pick up a tank and I'll be ready to do the job. I was just looking for information on where ppl mounted their comp. and tanks and how they hooked everything up. I see some ppl saying to put relays in and stuff like that. Thanks though for the offer Dave!!

I spent a great deal of time looking for a location to mount the compressor. The easiest location was under the back seat, driver's side, as close to the rear of the cab as possible. No air tank was necessary for my usage. Compressor noise is acceptable. Gauges were mounted under cubby hole area on bottom of dash. There are quite a few locations where a tank could be mounted underneath the truck in the general area of the compressor. I chose the underseat location simply due to protection from the elements. All the wiring was placed underneath the trim under the doors. Theres not much room in the engine compartment. good luck. Crockett
