Hi everyone,

I just joined. So far, I've only had sedans & bikes, but throughout the past few years I have been looking into getting a truck. Next year might be the right time, starting a family etc. Diesel is a must! So far, I've been leaning towards Ford, but the 6.0 didn't start out too well and hasn't really improved since. The 6.4 gets postponed further and further. I am hesitant to try a new engine in a Ford, International or not. No brand-bashing, I have just kept an eye out. That's how I landed here, I want to find out a bit more about the DMax, its reliability etc.. :)

I am looking forward to spending some quality time in this forum

Thanks for the warm welcome. The 6.0 was introduced Nov 2002, so I assume you had a 7.3 L. Again, I've never owned a truck, but from what I read in a Ford Diesel forum, the 7.3 was more reliable and even got better gas mileage!
