What can anyone tell me about the stock Birdgestones?

From what I can tell they are a summer tire.

Also, we've had some rainy days here the past couple of weeks and I've noticed when I put my foot down moderatly, the rear gets kind of squirly. same when turning some corners at intersections. It isn't exactly a good feeling when they're doing that and there isn't even any snow yet!

Thinking maybe I should trade them off while they're still new.

I like mine, heck I think any tire you get will spin off the line in the rain.

I ran my stock tires 40K miles without a complaint. They may not be the best, but I couldn't complain about their performance in the snow or rain. These trucks are really front heavy with A LOT of torque. When the road is wet and you accelerate too fast, the tires spin.

About 30K on mine and they look like maybe 10K or so more to go before replacememt necessary. Stock tires are M+S rated. Have had no problems on snow. Truck is too heavy to get mud so I stay out of the stuff.

Just changed mine 70000 miles. Been in all types of weather. No complaints. I got same tire for replacement because they were so good to me.

Think I will make about 60,000 with no problem.
Have spare on PYO wheel and rotate all five.
May replace with Cooper's when time comes.

Are you talking about the R265? If so, I pulled mine from my Dmax and put them on our Suburban, they have around 48K on them and look like they will go at least 90K. I'm really happy with them. I put steel sidewall commercial tires on the Dmax.

I am pleased with the R265s. They ride really smooth, and wear well. My '00 came with worthless Generals that didn't last 40K. The Generals didn't last long enough to wear out, the cords broke in all four of them.

I got 583 good miles out of mine. I rotated them often. They kinda smell like burnt fish when the smoke a lot.

I can barely get moving in the rain on fresh blacktop, the truck just wants to spin, I think I need to drop the pressure a bit, but after 1800 miles I am satisfied at least, if only they were bigger.
