That is the dreded 53 block,I sold my 2000 because of that reason alone,it was out of warranty,I cannot believe Cummins didn't recall these trucks.

Just what I though "never heard of that before". Lucky me it's my work ride,company owned. I asked for a Chevy,but as usual,always go with low bidder. You get what you pay for.
