Inquiring minds want to know. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gifEdited by: FirstDiesel
Cheap. Around $5 each but since you pay one shipping, get 4 or 5 and sell or give away the rest to us.
They are raised emblems and yes they deal with individuals.Edited by: hoot

I think Mav makes them himself. I bought a set off of him a year ago or so.
Cheers

chevmeister 09-29-2003, 10:44 PM hmmm make them yourself..... interesting ideahttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif
Maverick 09-29-2003, 11:49 PM If anybody wants some, you can email me at:
diesel6600 at hotmail.com
Put Allison decal in the subject line.
Mine have been on the truck for almost 2 years. Still look like the day I put them on. They are printed on a clear decal so the paint color of your truck shows through.
Bearman.....how are yours holding up?Edited by: Maverick

TheChevyHDMan 09-30-2003, 02:31 AM You can order those at your nearest Alli shop, That part number is common among all Alli dealers. At least Im almost 100 percent sure. The place I orderd mine, was an Alli shop. I fueled up in front of an Alli service truck waiting for diesel today it was plastered with them stickers. Stupid me forgot to ask bout doing some "moonlighting" work on my tranny. I spooled up a quick one in front of em'....just ta let him know I still can.

Read all my posts in this thread.
Eric.....PM me or email.
Victory Red 10-19-2003, 11:52 AM Maverick,
Just curious if know an estimated time when I may receive a call from Eric???
Maverick 10-19-2003, 07:30 PM I just talked to Eric and I guess you have the filter and decals in hand. Glad the transaction went smooth.
Jeff
Victory Red 10-19-2003, 08:17 PM yeah it worked out great, and thanks for the decals.
Victory Red 10-21-2003, 08:04 AM Problem with the decals on my truck. The red in the Allison logo disappears when placed on my truck with the clear sticker. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif
Looks a little strange with just the blue swirls, I may have to pony up a couple of bucks and buy the black ones now.
Maverick 10-21-2003, 12:48 PM I figured that would happen. One other reason to own a WHITE GMChttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif
If there is enough Red truck owners........I could aquire some with all blue swirls/ no red.Edited by: Maverick
Victory Red 10-21-2003, 06:09 PM Kind of sucks actually, the stickers look good, and aren't quite as big as the black ones(plus your price is much better!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif).
Anyhow, I have two of Mavericks Allison Transmission stickers up for grabs should anyone want them. I'm also ordering some of the Emblem ones. I'm going to order a few extras should anyone else want to take some off my hands. So PM me if interested.
On Edit, I've ordered an even dozen of these(3 of which I'm going to use). Came out to around 4.60 a piece, so if anyone would like some let me know.Edited by: Victory Red
Aggie91 10-23-2003, 01:01 AM Mav,
Just got my stickers! Thanks for getting them to me. They really look great. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif I will be cleaning it up this week, can't wait to see what they look like on a pewter truck!
Thanx
PDS
Maverick 10-23-2003, 02:32 AM Glad to hear it. There should be a whole bunch of you guys getting them today or tomorrow.
railbuff 10-25-2003, 09:29 PM Hi Maverick,
How do I go about getting a set of the Allison emblems? I live in Canada.

Maverick 10-26-2003, 12:38 AM How do I go about getting a set of the Allison emblems? I live in Canada.
Read all my posts in this thread. Someone did send me an email from up north. Was it you? I did reply.
jermck 10-26-2003, 01:31 AM Hey Mav,
Put my decals on today. Now my truck looks better than yours.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
Thanks again.
Maverick 10-26-2003, 01:36 AM Good deal Jermck. When it comes time to get that boost gauge installed, you will love those connectors I sent ya.
jermck 10-26-2003, 01:39 AM Yea I was going to ask you about those. I don't quiet understand those little green tips.
Maverick 10-26-2003, 01:27 AM The black plactic tubing that comes with your Isspro boost gauge gets inserted there. Just push the tubing in till it bottoms out and pull back slightly. All done and connected up to 250 psi. To remove the tubing, pull down on the green ring and pull the tubing out. You have to pull the green ring down pretty hard to get it to release. No need to pull the green ring down to INSTALL the tubing....only to release the tubing. Alot easier than messing with the little brass wedding bands that come in the kit. If you don't tighten enough or too much they leak or they compress the black tubing some. These new connectors are slick as heck and make connecting a boost gauge very easy. Edited by: Maverick
jermck 10-26-2003, 12:58 PM Thanks for the explanation Mav. Sounds like the perfect way to install the boost gauge. I will be waiting a while on the gauges. My truck is going back to Eric this week for repair. Yesterday we drove over to Ind. stopped to get fuel and noticed the entire undercarriage of the truck was covered in diesel and the truck started missing. I think I have a crackcase full of fuel. You've already been through this I thinK? So much for this being a 200,000 mile truck.
Maverick 10-26-2003, 01:39 PM Thats a bummer Jermck......never had any type of fuel leak or fuel in my crankcase though. I am sure Eric will square it away for ya. Are you comming up to WI when Kennedy gets his Dyno running (b-4 Christmas)? If so, pick up my 5 gal bucket of Transynd from Eric and I can meet you to pick it up. Might have you get some of that Schaffer Oil products for me also from Eric also.
jermck 10-27-2003, 09:58 PM I am taking my truck up tomorrow and leaving it for about a week and a half. We are leaving Wed for MS to spend a few days at home. I will contact you before I go back to pick it up.
I haven't thought about coming up to Kennedys but that sounds like a good idea. I would like to see his place.
NoWake200 11-08-2003, 01:48 PM I just got my stickers this week can not wait to put them on!!!
I got three for the two front doors and tailgate. Now I need to get one Duramax for the tailgatehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
