I guess you have to be an idiot to ask this question, but where do you intall these? What I'm getting at is where do you you look for evidence of them on a truck if you're thinking about buying it? I have heard that people usually put the pyro hole on the right side exhaust manifold, but is there a common place on the manifold that most people use? Where would you look for a pipe plug to see if somebody took it off and plugged up the hole?

And, where is the computer? Where do you install the actual box/ chip, or whatever it is? Thanks.

The pryo is usually installed in the passenger side manifold or the exhaust close to where it clamps to the downpipe. As for a box, the only way you are going to tell if is it is still on there. Look on the drivers side of the engine back closer to the firewall. There are 2 black plastic connectors with gray handles and lots of wires going in. That is where a box plugs in.

Velcro on the fuse box is a dead giveaway as well.

stickers marking mustang kills or old time slips in the console might also be a give awayhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif
