I have a 03 Duramax SLT with the dvd player, some times i get a RSE ERROR on the head unit. The dvd plays fine but the head unit doesnt pick up the audio signal, it doesnt even say "DVD" on the unit. is there RCA's connecting? the wireless head phones work still. Any ideas??

pull and reinsert the RADIO fuse in the UBEC. (underhood bussed electrical center, the underhood fuse box) If that doesnt work, pull the RSE unit down, and check all the wires and pull and reinsert the plugs that go into the RSE. There is probably an intermittant or loose connection on the Class II data bus wire on the RSE...

Thanks, this happened after I downloaded my truck back to stock with the Bully Dog. The book says to pull the radio fuse's and a couple of others,(which I did) to install the triple dog, but to go back to stock you dont need to. I never noticed until 2 days later, so maybe it has nothing to do with the Triple Dog.

hmmm are you sure? I would pull the fuses ANY time you program it...going back to stock or going to a tune...

Hopefully the fuse reset will fix this.

I had this problem once as a result of a corrupted ECM load..
