With the 40amp fuse installed under the hood, your truck batteries power the trailer if you don't unplug the trailer. Just curious what would drain if nothing was on. jedmax 05-26-2006, 12:24 AM Not sure if this will work for you, but the same thing happened to my Chevy gasser...so I installed a solenoid to isolate the battery so it doesn't get accidently drained by the trailer.
