Those of you that have the now famous "green keys" to lift the front end 2-2.5" and have Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks . . . which shocks did you use.
They make a set for a non-lifted truck and a set for trucks with a 4" lift. Which ones worked from you?
I'm ready to buy a set and don't want to make a mistake with the front end raised up a little.

I have 2 sets of part numbers on various receipts, so I don't know for sure which is correct. But, here they are:
62010
62270
99274
99295
Those are for the front and rear.

I'm pretty sure mine were the stock (non lifted) ones. I think the numbers were the same as JimWilson's second set above -- 99274 & 99295. I seem to recall that the shocks for a lifted truck would have a good chance of bottoming out.

Why would it matter?
Your not lifting the truck by adding the Green Keys.
Your simply riding at a higher point of adjustment within the stock suspension travel.

Yes but the shock travel on the HD trucks is very little in front. Rancho has since indicated that a 1'' spacer on top might be helpful in this situation to keep the shock more in thecerter of it's travel. I should have them on pretty soon so I'll report back.

Yes ~ but suspect in your discussion w/Rancho, they might have been referring to the newer fronts shock (don't recall the current P/N but last 3 is 988?) for the HD trucks they released last Jan. The ones Jim, Joe & myself, have are the then recommended P/N for both HD and Lite 3/4 ton. There were no changes for the rears for the HD trucks ~ As I'm not running green keys, I guess I shouldn't have responded ~ still, I'm running 1.75" w/OEMs and haven't a problem. Its a mystery why Rancho came out w/another P/N shock for the HDs after the fact and same spec's save for the limited travel http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif Looks like the newer front shock travel has been reduced 3/4 ~ 1" and you say now they recommend a 1" spacer? Duh, I just don't get it http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gifEdited by: ShumDit
