There are 3 pictures below showing my gauges. The first one is the pyro with the ignition in the OFF position. The second is with the iginition in the ON position but NOT running, and the third is at idle. Why does the needle go way below ZERO when the iginition is off.

Mine does the same thing. Not a big deal. Nothing to worry about.

So you don't think it is erroneous in the temp it's reporting? Idle is always around 350-400.

Mine does the same thing as well. Autometer ultra lite.

I have Ultra-lite IIs and they have a needle that stops them at 0. My Pyro and EOT guage will stay at what ever temp they are reading when power is cut. When power is reapplied they will go through a calibration sweep and then read correct.

Off topic but. I found out that when I key the mic on my CB the pyro goes crazy. I quess its close enough to the module to mess with it. Ive got regular autometer gauges and they went to 0 when I shut off the truck.

My autometer acts just like dieseldan723. Reading at idle ought to be around 300 or so. Seems normal since we all appear to be experiencing the same readings...
