I have a 03 with I guess to be a fuel pump problem. I have over 80,000 on the truck and just started to the have a recurring problem. You can start the truck like normal and it appears that it idles long enough to consume the fuel in the system, the dies of fuel starvation.
I open the primer screw and pump it full again, tighten and pump to pressure. Starts like there is a little air and runs fine for a few days before recurring. I can find no leaks or sign of fuel leaks. Anyone else experienced this?

How long does it run for? Approximately 1 second? If so I suspect your problem might be with the passlock security system. If it happens, wait 15 minutes and I bet it will fire right up.

It runs longer than a few seconds, almost 1 to2 minutes. Also I failed to say it has sat over night. Like it uses up up what fuel is the system without the pump resupplying the system.

If it's running for 1 to 2 minutes it's not a passlock issue. It is something else. Waiting 15 minutes likely won't help.

I'm starting to have the same problem. 2005 LLY in the morning I start the truck runs for about 10 seconds and dies. Pop the hood and prime the filter and it starts up and runs fine all day. When it sits for a while does the same thing. I thought my bleeder was a little loose but thats wasnt the problem. I dont see any leaks either.

Sounds like you are sucking some air into the fuel system. Check all fuel lines to the tank if they are tight.

You do know that the fuel pump is sucking fuel from the tank and through the fuel filter, right? If you have an air leak, don't expect to see visible signs of a leak.

When you have this problem and it stalls, what do you see when you open the bleeder screw? Do you immediately get fuel or do you have to pump the primer a bunch of times to purge out accumulated air?

I only primed the filter once. When I cracked the bleeder I got air exhausting out. Pumped twice to get fuel. All the other times I just primmed and started.

Today was the first time I parked for about 1/2 hour and truck wouldn't start. Pump about 10 times and fires up.

Check the o-ring on the fuel filter.
and
the water drain valve/seal.

I just noticed you have Kennedy's lift pump installed. Is this how you are priming it? Manually pressing the button and letting the lift pump prime the system?

Well it has been a long time since the last no start. I changed the plastic bleeder to a metal one. I could see no flaws in the plastic bleeder, but still no problems since change.

I'm manually pressing the prime button on top of the filter about 20-30 times. Then crank the motor over about 3-5 seconds and runs at an idle.

I might try changing to a metal bleeder.

I also have a Kennedy Mega Filter installed. Gas tank pick up also has been modified. Everything was done at one time, Lift pumps,Mega Filter and Tank mod. I only have about 1000 miles on since these changes. Stock fuel filter was changed also.

Well as predicted it worked, failed to start this morning. Ran for 1-2 minutes and died. This is after the change of the bleeder screw. I opened the bleed screw and pumped the filter full (about 10 pumps was all) then closed screw and pumped until pressure was in system. Truck started after that and ran fine all day as usual. Is there a gate of some kind between the filter (or in the filter) and the tank that could be malfunctioning? It is not consistent with anything that I can put my finger on. I have checked the filter for tightness and cannot see anything on the filter mount to worry about. Those filter brackets that have cracked, where do they crack and can you see it with the naked eye?
