I just trial fitted a set of 16 x 8 weld evo velociti with 4.625 backspacing and they stick out too much. I didn't think it would look so bad but it does. What backspacing is everyone running with 16 x 8's. I am just running 265/75's for tires also. Stock is 5 inches backspacing on a 6.5 inch wheel so who makes a wheel with 5 or more backspacing that looks good, if anyone has any pics let me know.

Mine stick out a little more than yours. I have a 4.5" backspacing. I think they look good. Are you sure they are 4.625 and not 3.625? Take a look at my garage and you will see what mine looks like.

the backs look fine, the fronts look just like mine did, I will have to trim the bumper too because the fronts will rub. Did u notice any difference in the ride or feel when turning due to the tires being out further? Thanks, I think I might just keep them because you cant buy any other 16 wheels that I like with 5 inch backspacing!!

iirc mine are 4.5. Take a look at my garage for pics 16x8, 265 mtrs. 6 turns on torsion bars, still rub front bumper... but only in reverse :D

I feel the ride is better, but that could be just from the bigger tires. I have driven one full winter with these rims on and I had no problems. Turning radius went down a little, but my truck turns better than the ford we have at work. I can't complain.

Ultra makes a few different styles of 16"x8" wheels with 5" or even 5.25" backspace.
