I have just recieved some Timbren's. I took a peek at the factory mounted rubber stops, and Im a bit puzzled about how to remove em'. Does anyone have any experience in the matter? Thanks in advance!

Jack up the truck and let the suspention droop. Take off the wheels(makes life easier. There is one nut holding the bumpstop on, its on the top in that lil perch area were the bumpstop mounts. Should be easy to figure out once you get the tire off and can see and look in there. The timbrens are pretty easy to install. Use some anti sieze and make sure you take a bit of time rotating them and thier lil angled spacer deal to get em ****ed in the right direction to contact the a arm well.

Oh.....wait.......

Do you mean front or rear timbrens? I'm talking about the fronts for the snow plow etc guys.

I'm mounting em' on the rear. Hopefully they are held on in the same manner as the front you described. thanks

Just one bolt from the top holding the rear bumpstop on. You'll see it when you get under there.

Thankful

I was able to install mine without jacking the truck up or taking the wheel off. I preinstalled the mounting bracket to the spring and then installed the assembly to the frame. I initially used the washer, but later took it off. There was not enough space between the timbrens and the axle. The ride suffered quite a bit because of this fact.
