I have been playing with the scan tool logging data then looking at highlighted areas at give range in tuning tool. My question is does the scan tool highlight the correct areas in the tuning tool. Example Main injection pulse - using logged data shows mm3 changing but MPa is always on 190 in areas the no one else seems to change in their tunes.

I want to be able to look at throttle position and rpm to figure out where to decrease fuel or increase boost since I am getting a large black cloud. Any direction would be appreciated. :help:

Ok ................................ I am going to try to reword the question...

How do I figure out, on the fuel table where I should change , based on rpm and throttle position? Please?

Make sure you are logging actual rail psi in MPa if you want to use that data in the tuning file.

Thanks bobo, it was in psi. I also got help with scan tool maps.....doing much better now. This place is the stuff, expensive, but fun.

Logging in Mpa will give you the same result. I have logged with both and still get the 190Mpa column highlighted.

I am not getting the 190MPa anymore using MPa. If I use a map in the scan tool, it does not show the same boxes as the tuning tool highlights. It appears the map is more accurate.
