I will try to be brief.

To start with the Attitude monitor will not fit in the upper console nice metal frame from ATS as illustrated, without some modification. I mean a little grinding on the ATS unit to get the wiring on the Attitude to clear. Be prepared.

On the EGT install the Juice/Attitude instructions calls for a 5/16' drill and 1/8" NPT tap. I was not able to start the tap in the 5/16" hole and discovered drill/tap charts call for a size "R" drill. I used a 11/32" drill which was close.

IMO this install is not for the novice. Tapping was brutal and with all the alterations that I had to due well.........

For the record I used the "Hoot" method and I wish I had purchase new inner fender liner "push screws" that hold the liner on.

All is working though. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Hopefully you haven't hacked up your ats mount yet! All you have to do is take the back off of your attitude and slip it into the ats mount. Then put the back cover back on. So the ats mount should be sandwiched between the 2 halves of the attitude.

I thought of that Max, but the Attitude has a warning label that says the Attitude warranty is void if opened. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

My alteration is not visible.

My old one has the sticker on the back cover. I asked Aaron about it on another one I did and he said no worries. Under the circumstances they understand. So I am not worried. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

I used what ever sized drill bit the juice instructions called for to install the probe and didnt have a problem. Hoot method as well....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Them goofy screws are a PITA to remove without buggering em up aint they? Goes back together easy enough though.

Drilling and tapping does spray alot of chips and such! Glad I had my glasses onhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

Well I altered my mount also to clear the cable. Could not understand why it did'nt fit well....now I know. Also I had a time getting the whole thing to fit the overhead opening..... screwdriver, some words, viola.

Well I think this thread will show "all ain't just a plug and play".

Motovet, I had to file a little on my overhead console as well to get the ATS to fit. Ain't nothing to fret over, but be prepared for some possible alterations if you try the above additions. You may need many tools in the ole box.

As far as the sticker, I had to send in my attitude for a 'reflash' or whatever they call it, and I told them about the ATS mount and that I removed the sticker. They said dont sweat it, they can tell if the board has been messed with and know about the ATS issue.
