I finally installed the PIAA 4080 lights in place of the stock fog lights. They have an amber fog beam and a super white driving beam. They also have two small bulbs, an amber i tied into the turn signals and a white that is tied into the high beams. They are an improvement over the stock lights. They look cool too.:ro)

Where did you get that setup. I was just looking around last night for something to put in there.

They are PIAA #4080. My brother sells them. I know JP Customs has them, as does Performance Products.

Those look great. Do they work off of the factory switch? Would it be possible to get some night time pics up to see how bright they are?

I will get night pictures as soon as I can.

I am going to keep the stock ones for now. Will put back in when I sell the truck.

Did you connect them to the stock switch and wiring?

I tried to do mine this way but it blows a fuse.

In one of his pictures it looks like there is an added switch. I am assuming that is for the lights because everything else in the picture looks stock so I don't see why else he would have posted the picture. If you wanted to use your stock switch and it was blowing the factory fuse you could just hook a relay up to the switch output and draw the power from the battery.

Not sure what year your truck is but it may be that it is using a seperate negative. And if you are grounding the lights to the frame it will blow the fuse.
I have these lights with the friving lights hooked up to my factory aux light switch and the spots connected to a one of my rockers on my Trippin overhead mount.
one set of the smaller bulbs is connected to my daytime lights.

I am using the switch that came with it for now. Thought about tying in to the stock switch, but did not want to be limited by the low/high beam set up.
