Just recently purchased 2004 chevy 4x4 crew cab dually automatic, was wanting to know what performance parts or progarammers would be best for towing and also mileage, not looking to go all out on power would be satisifed with it performing like LBZ or lil better but main thing is being safe with it so stock tranny will hold up.Any help or advice would be appreciated.thanks

Edge juice with attitude. It will give you gauges for towing and some tranny protection. Check the for sale section here. There are alot of tuners for sale in there sometimes...

I love my Edge w/Attitude, nothing crazy, but it'll leave a smile on your face when you lay into it. Plus I get 21-24mpg on the freeway.

Look into the Bully Dog programers. You can adjust how much power you want and you can get the monitor screen to mount on your dash. They also have the tranny protection I believe and some other goodies. When I get my D-max I'm getting the Bully Dog....they are the best IMO.

Sounds a bit cheerleader-ish to me... Did they cut you a deal to pimp their box?

Edge is more refined than the Bullydog that's for sure. They just spend more money advertising in Jegs, that may be why they sell so many.

I know that my Six-Gun w/Speedloader (LB7) on level 2 pretty much equals my friend's LBZ.

I transport RVs with a 2003 D/A. Using Superchips in Tow/Safe mode....getting 21-22 empty and 15.72 overall, this is figured with the old calculator. I never know what I willbe towing or how much it will weigh. Loves this D/A after suffering through a 6.0 PowerSuck.
